My mother had two abortions before me and I need to talk to someone

I just found out from my sister that my mom had two abortions before me and my sister. I am not against abortions, nor am I for them… I do believe it is the woman’s choice, but… This is just really strange. Shocking, really. I don’t know if I should bring it up… (probably not…) or just keep my mouth shut. I am just so flabberghasted. :/ I feel like if she had those abortions then, what stopped her from aborting me?! I feel kind of sick… Please help me if you can… Its not really a question, I guess. I just need someone to talk to.

just talk to her about it, maybe she wasnt rdy to have a child, too young are not enough money, its not like she was happy about it just chill and talk to her im sure she has a good reason for it

My mother had one before me, she was too sick to carry the child, I know she was really unhappy about it. You should talk to her about it. Find out why she had them…

My mother had an abortion before me, I must say it never shocked me, but I suppose her reasons for it we’re valid…she found out that the baby’s brain wasn’t developing properly and aborted it at 5 months.

I can understand that you are feeling this way and I think you should bring it up with your mother, ask her what her reasons were, so that you can also get some closure about why she did it and not you. After all, it’s nothing to be ashamed of.

You can have an abortion that far into a pregnancy? 5 months? I thought it was illegal.

I thought it was illegal.

It was and is, she had to go to the police office and get a legal form of some sort to do it and then get it done.

You’re not allowed usually to do abortions over 3 months.
