Based on your question, I have to ask what you’re putting in your batter to make it hard. A cake should come out soft every time if you follow the right formula … a cake that comes out hard is lacking liquid or fats.

Idk but my mom just baked a cake which is really soft and i just love eating it lol

try adding vegtibal oil. not too much but just enought to make the batter smooth.

If it’s hardened by something you’re putting in it or not putting in it, then stop it and follow the damned directions! Or you could try putting a pudding mix in it :}

Mayo. Sounds nasty but you don’t taste it and it keeps it soft and smooth.
