Tell me what you think about my poem
When I use to live wit my auntie my uncle use to cheat on her and she never left him this is a poem I wrote long time ago tell me if you like it honest opinion
It takes a strong women
It takes strong woman To be in love with a man When she knows he’s not treating her right
It takes a strong woman To not confront her man When he didn’t come home last night
It takes a strong woman To close her eyes And not see what is in front of her face
It takes a strong woman To keep up her man’s lies When another woman is taking her place
It takes a strong woman To sacrifice her own happiness Just to make her house a home
It takes a strong woman To live with a cheating man Instead of living alone
Good peom but so totally wrong.. The woman in your poem is not strong she is weak. It takes a strong woman to stand up for herself and face what is going on her life. It takes a strong woman to get out of a troubled relationship and find someone who cant resist her and nothing less. It takes a strong woman to step up and do whats right!
actually it takes a weak person to not stand up for themselves and to let someone treat them badly and abuse them over and over again. thats like saying your a strong woman for letting a man beat on you and never leaving him because you don’t want to be alone. you think its not the same but abuse is abuse.
sorry if what I said upsets you. you asked for the truth though. be careful what you ask for in life. it might just happen.
no I disagree, it takes a strong woman to put up with that crap,I mean to stay and let it happen, a woman not to confront him is pretty strong for women, most would and everything would blow up, but sometimes bein quite and not doin anything is the most strongest thing, but your looking for a mans point, you wouldn understand a womans point so thats the differences between sexes LOL but its ok…neways I like it…GOOD JOB!!!
I thought it was really good!
