Parakeet help

Hi, I had two parakeets and over the week one ran into a window and died. Now I'm wondering how to make friends with the remaining parakeet so he won't be lonely. How can I?

if you can try to get him a new bird friend, get a small cage for the new bird to stay and place it next to the other birds cage for about a week or until they seem to get along. if you dont want to get a new bird then you can try to hold the other bird(not against its will) for little amounts of time through-out the day. get him some millet(bird treat) or peanuts(unshelled) for treats he/she will begin to like you as you treat him/her more like a best pal. also some birds enjoy being misted with a spray bottle. my parot enjoys it, just make sure it is warm out. I would also suggest getting the wings of your bird clipped so that he/she doesn't also run into a window.

I would another one. I had one to start, now I have four, and have had them for seven years. they love company.
