Nail biting how can i stop!!?

How can I stop!!!???
I have done everything.
I've tried the no bite nail polish, I've put bandaids on my finger tips to stop biting, I've even tried self motivation. if you know what I mean.
But I just cant stop!!!
Is it psycalogical?
Or am I just a...

nervous wreck.
Help please!!!

calm down! I used to bite my nails and they were just studs but now they are hecka long. I guess later on you just stop you know. in the meantime just scratch things. your nails will get longer trust me.

you just need to realize when you are biting your nails and make an effort to stop

oh and I almost forgot, if you want longer nails, also just snip the tips of your nails. then all the biten parts will be gone and they will grow faster

I used to have a serious problem. I tried the band-aid thing, nail polish (eww), and after a while I stopped. I don't know how, but now I dont bite them. try instead of biting, to work your way to nibbling, not biting down, you wont bite em off and they'll grow like normal.

I tried everything when I tried stopping this habit too... the no-bite was nasty, I also tried tabasco sauce because I hate spicy hot things. Eventually what worked the best is getting acrylics like dollface said. You cant even get to your nails. Plus they are not the ones you want to be biting. Every two weeks go in and get a fill and every month and a half or two months get the completely taken off and new ones put on. After a year, I never had the habit again. I also stopped picking at my hangnails and rarely get hangnails anymore.

I will never dip my nails in tabasco sauce. and heck no to fake nails! I'M A GUY!!!

I have the same havent. ever since I could chew! get fake ones. not the shitty walgreens ones but the ones at the salon. over a few weeks they should grow. when you get them off they will be weak but DO NOT BITE! they will look great. I garentee it.
