I'm not a doctor, but I've had my share of sports injuries. It could just be sprain. The best advice I can give you is to keep it iced (only keep the ice on the area for 15-20), keep it elevated (when you can), try not to do to much on it for the next 2 or 3 days. However, I would go get it checked out if the swelling gets worst, there's discoloration, or increased pain. Better safe than sorry.

k so I was playing basketball today and I went up for a layup and came down on my ankle not really hard but I heard a pop, and my ankle is a little swollen but I can still walk on it fine, I have a really high tolerance for pain so im not really sure if I injured it bad or not?
