5 miles x 15
=75miles/ hour
If a car travels 5 miles in 4 minutes, you have to work out how many periods of 4 minutes fit into an hour. The answer to that is 15 and so then you must multiply both values by 15. So it becomes 75 miles in 60 minutes. Hope that helps

A racetrack measures 5 miles long. If a car completes the track in exactly 4 minutes, what is the average speed in miles-per-hour?
