Leaves on holly bushes

Thunder Robot Asked by funadvice 3 months ago, 1 answer.

Over the winter months, Deer have eaten most of the leaves off many of my holly bushes. The plants stoill appear to be healthy and the branches and stems are moist and green. Will the leaves grow back and the plant survive?

Yes, it'll be fine, they;ve just given it an early pruning. You might want to tidy it up a bit, if it looks lopsided, but it should grow back nicely. Cut back the branches where the leaves are mostly missing. You'll see new growth by May.
