Leaves on holly bush

My leaves on some of my holly bushes have turned completely brown or light brown. is this a problem and how can I fix it or save the bush if it is dying?

It sounds like its been through a drought... you should be able to cut away the dead parts and start watering it again. They don't mind being pruned.
