How to trace long lost fathers?

when I was younger my mother kicked my father out because he did something bad. all I know is his name but I would really like to meet him. if he's a prick at least I get closure. I can't go to the salvation army because if my mum found out she'd be...

annoyed and I've tried a few of these internet site but they just con you out of money. all I know about him is his name and that he's english!!!
any tips any one?

If you decide to look for him, I think you should think about it a lot and think of the negative so you wont be let down if things go wrong. Find him by typing his name in Yellowbook.com this will give numbers and addresses. Call each one or write each one to see if it is him.

you could do a search on the internet by typeing in his name but you never know for sure if the person is the right...you could find a website that does that specific thing...like a site that people go to to find lost relatives...do you know what 'm saying..(I'm confusing myself right now lol joke)...I hope that helps alittle

I think you should have a notepad or diary so you can right your feelings down or tell someone your feelings

When you know your father's full name ask other relatives if they have information on him. Is his name listed on the birth certificate?

Check the website for the county you live in (or county where he resides)
