How to find out if god exists?

I actually refer to myself as agnostic but I would be interested in knowing how you could find out the existence or non-existence of God.

Find out the existence or non-existence of God is not necessary for us because we are ordinary people and make use of the world and enjoy. Read the following if you have time,
I dreamed I had an interview with God

'What surprises you most about mankind?'

God answered:

'That they get bored of being children, are in a rush to grow up, and then long to be children again. That they lose their health to make money and then lose their money to restore their health. That by thinking anxiously about the future, they forget the present, such that they live neither for the present nor the future. That they live as if they will never die, and they die as if they had never lived...'

God took my hands and we were silent for while and then I asked... 'As a parent, what are some of life's lessons you want your children to learn?'

God replied with a smile:

'To learn that they cannot make anyone love them. What they can do is to let themselves be loved.

To learn that what is most valuable is not what they have in their lives, but who they have in their lives.

To learn that it is not good to compare themselves to others. All will be judged individually on their own merits, not as a group on a comparison basis!

To learn that a rich person is not the one who has the most, but is one who needs the least.

To learn that it only takes a few seconds to open profound wounds in persons we love, and that it takes many years to heal them.

To learn to forgive by practicing forgiveness.

To learn that there are persons that love them dearly, but simply do not know how to express or show their feelings.

To learn that money can buy everything but happiness.

To learn that two people can look at the same thing and see it very differently.

To learn that a true friend in someone who knows everything about them...and likes them anyway.

To learn that it is not always enough that they be forgiven by others, but that they have to forgive themselves.'

I sat there for a while enjoying the moment. I thanked Him for his time and for all that He has done for me and my family, and He replied, 'Anytime. I'm here 24 hours a day. All you have to do is ask for me, and I will answer.' With that, He looked into my eyes and whispered these words:

'My dear child, please remember that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.'

In science, to see is to believe.

But in faith, to believe is to see.

Just ask God to reveal Himself to you in a special way. If you ask it with all your heart, He is the most eager to find a way for you. Your desire to know Him comes from God Himself because He wants you to find Him sooner or later. Otherwise, you wouldn't care to find Him.

For me, all I have to do is look around....happenstance didn't create you or I or the Universe....Faith is the evidence of things not seen....Faith cometh by hearing and hearing comes from the Word of God (The Bible)....a person has free will to either accept or reject Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior....I see His existence when I look around.

id like to believe but science just kills it. We believe in the bigging of time that he create adam and eve. And in science its the theory of evolution. Tough call

There is no knowing in this world anyway. Since God is assumed to live in a realm outside of our physical reality there is no test we can perform to determine his existance.

I used to believe in God and all the main tenets of Christianity. Then at 12 I started to think critically about God. Is God real or just wishful thinking? Is it reasonable to believe in God? If there was a God would he send his children who he supposedly loves to eternal torment just because they didn't believed that God nailed his son to a tree for them? If the universe is so complex that it couldn't just happen and must have been created by God than wouldn't that make God so complex that he couldn't have just happened and had to have a creator as well?

My conclusions were:

There is probably no god. The physical universe is probably the sum of reality.

If there is a god it probably isn't the Christian one.

If the Christian God exists he is not worhty of our worship. He is a cruel unreasonable hypocite.

I think it's very hard if not impossible to really find out if God exists. It's like santa clause. You hear so many storeys but you never really see him. You can read up on miracles that happined to people that have no other possible explenation except for someone must have been watching over them.

the bible claims he is real. and places in the bible are real so it's possibly true that the people in the bible are real.

I do exist, its just mostly kept from you all, out of the media. I come and I go in my mighty aircrafts and can descend down without one, but none the less they will not tell you that so I will through this medium. I am here now ready to answer all questions for your advice so not to be lost, you need knowledge of me for time is at hand, and knowledge of yourself ,for you are not who they say you are, get back with us, over and out.

Keep in mind we have more proof of Gods existance than not.

Just pray. He already knows your needs, wants, questions and desires. He will answer you in His own personal, deep and special way. You will know. Believe, and it will be revealed unto you. Don't forget to thank God in your prayers. He loves us whether we love Him or not.
He is a forgiving God and He will lead you in the right path. Jesus Christ is your own personal savior. Praise God. Prayer works. Amen.

I guess it would be difficult to prove...
But I look at the beauty around me and I can't help but become convinced that there is a creator!
I suppose you could also read upon the Ontological and Teliological arguments for the existence of God, but I simply took a step of faith and emotional free fall into God's arms and was changed inside.
I personally believe that if you are asking these questions, then God is gently and lovingly bringing you to Himself!

I belive he is waiting for us in heaven, . Somewhere in the bible I remember it saying people rely to much on logic instead of faith, & that is true...example to make it easeir to understand?...the girl who lost her arm in a shark atack (I belive her name is bethany hamilton) logically it would be almost impossible for her to ever surf again right?. but she had faith and hope, and belived she could surf again, & she did surf again. uhh does that make sense for u? sorry if it dosent.
