Because when we are young we are naive, we think about things that are innocent like, oooh no school, no tests, no homework...can go to sleep when we feel like it...we dont think about the hours at work, mean bosses we might have to deal with or the co workers that can make our lives a living hell...we dont think about the bills that have to be paid even if it means working at any given job or suffer the consequences of being thrown on the street...see the difference!
As for being sore all over...poor thing...that just means that ur out of shape. Just get a few more hours stretching. In the meantime, just have fun with the wifey & some massages. Also a nice scented oil bath to relax the muscles or some cold ice gel...it helps with sore muscles.
Hope you feel better.
because you dont understand exectly what an adult does...few people look forwards to paying bills, paying tax, working all their life to earn their possesions...plus when your older you think about death more, and your ageing. when your young you just want to be able to do stuff without your parents saying yes or no. but when your older, theres too many responsilities, and you start to realsie that the older you get the less time you have to live...that will put a lot of people off wanting to grow up
When you are young, you want so much to know how it feels to be an ADULT, it seems to be so wonderful, exciting, and new and no one to question you about anything. When you actually get to the adult phase or 20's, its still wonderful, exciting, then when you get to about 30, you wander why you tried so hard to grow up so fast, when all along, youth was more than enough, as exciting, fun, breathtaking and wondrous!!!
Exactly. I know what you mean. As a child, I was always thinking of how great it would be to be an adult and have 'true freedom' as I had thought it would be. But as people grow up and see just how society and life really are, they realize that they had it easier before. They didn't have to worry about money, or work, or children, or anything of great responsibility.
Well im a teen and I just hate it.Especially because you can't work, drive or do any of that stuff.i hate living with my parents because everything is always mad messed up.and it is just hard because most teens are always looking up to people that are older than them like celebs..and idk i guess you just have to sort of enjoy any time you have on this earth.
People generally hate the control and amount of rules they have as children, and when they're older, they see that things are even harder, and maybe having choices and responsibilities wasn't as great as they thought. So in the long run, being a child is a lot better.
Yes I have to say no to myself all the time for things I want to do, I either do not have the time or I have do do something that my kids want to do. I fell my kids get to do more than I do, but they sure have a lot more request than I have time to fulfill.
I think that it's because when your young, you can't do anathing and everybody is controling you, but once your older you realize things are not that easy and harder than you tought, and you just want to go back and have it be easy again.
I am the buffer now between my children and the world just as my parents where for me. Rules, as an adult there are more rules than you are aware of, and the consequences are harsher as well.
I guess because people wants to see how it feels to be grown. I couldn't wait to be grown when I was little. Now here I am, it's not what I thought it would be.
Because people are never satisfied with what they have, and even when they get what they want, they can never feel truly happy. Hence, the pursuit of happiness.
True, but also with age comes wear and tear on the body, me and my wife went dancing this weekend, and I must have danced for 6 hours, now I am sore all over.
Because we want to grow up and b an adult, we don't realize how hard it is, then once we get older we realize how easy we had it and want to go back
Yeah, and the amount of energy and enthusiasm is still around when you're young. It starts to deteriorate as you age.
And when you are older, you can do anything and everyone is still controlling you, the darn man keeping me down.
The grass is green everywhere, you've just got to be able to see it right.
Well I don't have any money to worry about, I never get to see it.
The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
idk but i dont wanna get old! lol i wannabe a kid 4ever!!
The grass is not always greener on the other side.
Very true, our bodies aren't wat they used to b
Youth is wasted on the young... :)
Lol very true
