Well, in my case, I became a teenage mom because I just desperately needed someone to love me…I thought that if I had a baby, that baby would love me because I’m the mother.

While I wasn’t wrong about my child loving me, I was wrong in my reasoning. Being a teen mom was the most difficult thing I have ever done and now that she’s 16, I’m still struggling to get myself into a position where most other adults my age are.

Having a baby is a big deal. It’s a lot of hard work, a lot of heartache, and a lot of sacrifice.

why is having a baby a big deal? well, because it is a big deal becoming a parent. it’s a huge responsibility which should be only left for adults.. but anyway, it’s a big celebration, happiness. it’s always going to be a big deal.
