How come when people are together,they can't say what they believe
How come when guys and girls are just friends,they voice their opinion and stand their ground. And then when they go out wit sumbdy,they just go along wit whatever happens??? I’ve always been taught,don’t have sex til your married,don’t think that every guy is “the guy”,u know? People say,”they really care about me.” if they really care about you,they should listen to and understand your limits. If not,they can’t be the one. Right? How come when people are together,they can’t say what they believe or whatever.
You are right, if the person isn’t being true to themselves or is being forced into something they are not ready for - that is NOT love.
When you find the right person you can be open with them, you can tell them the truth always, you can stand by their beliefs and not try and change them, you can come to comprimises and be willing to work with the other person on problems.
It sounds to me like your friends are going through normal teenage denial. They think that every relationship they get into is “the one” and that it will last forever.
