Do women generally wear the same size slacks or dress pants as they do jeans?

I do then again some go by different sizes.

I do normally, but I wear a size smaller in skirts (5’s always seem to loose in skirts, idk why)

I believe so, but since I have a large butt I have to wear over-sized pants, that fall around waist but fit my rear end!

Sizes can differ depending on where the clothes are manufactured. It’s best to try them on, for a good fit.

I wear a different size on almost every brand. I’m not sure why. For example: in hollister a 5…aeropastle a 3/4…american eagle a 4…abrocrombie and fitch a size 0…I have two different sizes dress pants 4 and 2. I’ve always found it weird. Lol.
