Why is he treating me like this?

I’ve been dating this kid for about 3-4 months. Thats not that long I know, but we are really close. We talk all the time and we tell eachother absolutely everything. He has had problems with getting cheated on in the past,and he always worries about it. I havent done anything to make him worry more and im always reassuring him that I wouldnt do that and I care about him. I was on the phone with him he told me he has feelings for someone else to “but he likes me more”. And I was absolutely crushed. I never would have expected that from him especially from everything that hes been through. The next day I called him up crying and we both talked. He wants us to be just friends for a while because he doesnt know what he wants. But I cant be friends with him I am not done with him I care to much. Yeah I want him to be happy, but its not fair what hes doing. :( what should I do?

well,this must be a really tough situation for you,you say that you and your boyfriend are really close, he may have told you about the whole him having feelings for another person because he just wanted to be honest with you,if he was cheated on in the past,then he knows that is sucks and he wouldnt want to put you through it too,if he says that he likes you more the other person and he needs time to think,your probabley best to just give him his space for a while to sort out his head.It may sound bad dont,believe me I know,I hate sitting back and waiting but sometimes its the best thing you can do,I really hope it works out between you two and hope this helped.
