God is going to destroy the devil and evil, at some point, there is a certain time for this to happen, known only to God. You might research endtimes and read the bible, it gives us the whole story.

Answer #3

God is going to destroy the devil? God, being all knowing, created the devil, knowing that he was creating evil…

So the better question is why did God create evil?

Answer #4

About 300 years B.C. a Greek philosopher named Epicurus wrote this often quoted answer to the question of the existence of evil in a world that “God” supposedly created. I’ve put some explanation of the ancient wording in parentheses.

“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent (all powerful). Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent (he is evil). Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? (then where does evil come from?) Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”

I would only add, theists (believers in “God”) often say that “He” allows evil in the world so humans can choose whether to do good or bad. What they can’t answer is why a good “God” can allow such natural evils as the tsunami (“tidal wave”) that killed over 225,000 people in 11 countries in 2004. Clearly this was not a man-made phenomena, therefor, if “God” is good, and if “He” is all powerful, why the heck didn’t he stop this horrendous loss of innocent life (tens of thousands of babies died from families of all faiths) and thousands of other natural disasters that continually occur on earth and have over the centuries no matter which of the thousands of modern or ancient gods that humans have prayed to?
