I was at the coffeehouse this morning, working the drive through. I was the one TALKING to the people. We have questions that we HAVE TO ask, because our boss is listening too and we will get told if we do not follow company procedure. Now, this morning, there were like 15-20 people who were just absolutely rude. I have to ask those questions, I have to do the things I am doing because it is COMPANY policy. but so many people are so rude. I mean they get mouthy, lippy, whatever you wanna call them Do they not understand that we are doing our jobs? I don't go there and harass them on theirs. Just because I work in a coffeehouse part time, doesn't make me a low-class loser that you can stick your nose down on. What gives people the right to treat ANYONE with disrespect?
They do the same thing for servers. I worked as a waitress for a year and got countless people blaming me for problems beyond my control. At Red Lobster you haev to have like a minute long frickin speech that you say to every table, and the mangers watch you throughout the day. Ya, it's annoying I know.
I know what you mean. I hate people at times. Next time if they're so rude to you again then explain to them you're just doing your job and tell them that they don't have to be so freckin rude. That's what I'd do anyways.
Ignore them , they piss everyone off (:
