Why do I feel really guilty and bad for telling on her?

Because you feel like that’s something you should have kept to yourself and you feel like she’s never going to tell you anything personal again. Really though, what you did was the right thing and you couldn’t have handled it any better. I remember I had a friend on MSN saying she wanted to kill herself and I literally called the police I was so scared, they went and talked to her, she got over the issue and was fine. I think about it all the time what could have happened if I hadn’t of called.

You know that in you did the right thing, even if it meant that you “betrayed” (as your friend right now thinks of it) your friend. Negative feelings seem to overwhelm any good feelings. You are a good friend to her, despite whats running through her mind right now.

Because you betrayed your friend by going to the school.

Or at least that’s how people usually look at it.

You did a good thing though. Don’t let guilt bother you; you didn’t really do anything wrong even if it feels that way.

dont be. you helped her. you feel guilty because thts just what we feel after we tell. usually. ^^. I always feel bad for evrythin, though. but you did the right thing. you prob. helped her a lot more thn you and her both think. look at the long run. ^^
