  Wrong!! The mustang was created and designed by Donald Frey (who just passed away). Lee Iacocca was simply Ford's executive who launched it on the market.

  john najjar designed the stang after th p-51 mustang(fighter plane) but, lee lacoca says it is named after the pony.phil clark designed the pony logo.
