Which type of nails are better?

I’m getting my nails done for the first time professionally. They offer two types of artificail nails, gel or powder. The gel is more expensive but money is not an issue. My question is what makes them so different and which is better, becasue as of right now I have no ida what kind to get.

I would definantly get Acrylic (powder). They last longer and are easier to get off. All together I like them better and I usually get them done every month.

I believe (not too sure, so rather focus on the other replies you might get) that the gel nails are softer and easier to keep in shape.

I’ve had both done at some stage (but that was about a year and longer ago) and I found that the gel nails felt a lot more comfortable that the other nails.

acrylic last longer and you can get better designes on them but gel look better and are stronger
