when can I start dating

I have started the divorce paperwork. My husband will be served in two weeks. When is it right to start dating. And if my husband finds out, can he use that against me to prevent me from keeping the house for the kids?

You should probably start dating after or close to the time your divorce is finalized. That would help to keep from adding coals to the fire of the divorce. Your husband does not need to know who you are dating once you two are not together anymore, but if he so happens to find out, that should not be basis for him keeping you from having the house for the kids. The kids come first and that would be wrong if he tried. If you do start dating soon, just make sure you keep the guys seperate from the kids because sometimes that can be twisted and blown up and used against you on custody issues.
