What's a good story plot to use for a video to Hide and seek by Imogen Heap?

Answer #1

A guy playing games with a girl. Shes chasing him, trying to get through to him, and he hides away. And it tears her up inside little by little until she just wants to stop loving him. Or it could be something along the lines of you dont know what you have until its gone.

It could start out with a women standing in an open field with a forest around it, camera on her face while it slowly moves around her in a sort of half arc shot until we’re just looking at the back of her hair while the camera is dollying backwards away from her. Then the shot could change to her face again, eyes closed, singing the lyrics while the camera moves backwards again, showing more of her, only this time, others are walking into the frame behind her, maybe 10 yards away, and they’re all men. As she sings, they walk towards her in a sort of slow motion, and stop in a horizontal line behind her at maybe 5 yards away. One could step forward, the camera could switch shots to his face, then back to hers, then pull out again so that they’re all in the shot. Then it could switch to a crane shot, just as the woman starts to run. She runs from the field and into trees surrounding, and the camera switches shots to different angles of her as she runs (still singing the lyrics). She’d look behind her and we’d see the shot showing the man who stepped forward walking towards the trees as she’s running. The camera shot could change again to us watching her run and stand behind a large tree as she closes her eyes and tries to make herself hidden while singing. Throughout all of these scenes, there could also be shots of things from the song, such as a time lapse of people walking on a city street during the lyric “when busy streets a mess with people” or maybe a waterfall of cut out newspaper words cascading through the air during the lyric “newspaper word cut outs”. The video could possibly end with the woman floating up above the men using a green screen or even wire, and just have her going up towards the sky as she looks down on them. I don’t know, maybe I should go into more detail here, but I just see this sort of scenario when I hear the song, sorry if it’s not very clear.
