What you think about dropouts?

Ok well I dropped out of school and every 1 is all ways telling me I don’t have a good reason and I should go back so I want 2 know what you think I just want 2 know if you think it is a good or bad reason please do not argue with me or get all mean if you don’t agree. So here is goes I dropped out cause it was hard 4 me I had 2 walk a mile 2 school every day and I kept getting frost bitten in the winter there was this teacher there at the school that kept touching my shoulder aggressively and I told on him and he told me he was just going 2 do it more and I didn’t like that they in a way failed me I asked them 4 my missed work when I had home work and they never gave it 2 me they all so didn’t give me my progress reports when I asked them either I told the principal and guidance councilor this and they said they talked 2 them but is continued happening I have a hard time remembering this like I will go 2 a class sit there listen 2 the teacher just the teacher and I still come out of that class not remembering a thing she said witch is wicked weired cause I use to be wicked good in school all so there was way 2 much drama I have mental problems I freak out when I am around 2 many people at once I get mad ezly and was scared I might hurt Some 1 I am a total loner and plain out I just don’t like school and I learn more at home then I do there any way

Answer #1

do you help your mujm though??? if you do then youre a good girl. or if you at least try and get a job.

Answer #2

um no

Answer #3

it depends whether the dropouts pull their socks up and get a job and get a life and not bludge off their parents income. if they hang around the shopping centre all day jobless and causing havoc and doing drugs, those are the dropouts that are losers.

Answer #4

from what I’ve heard from dropouts…they regret dropping out…its just not worth it

just finish school completely then you can have a break and plan on going university in a couple years.

TRUST ME you dont want to drop out…(I never hear the end of it from soem of my friends:P)

Answer #9

Hi love bug, I agree with many above, stay focused, you sound like an intelligent girl, it’s unfortunate you’ve had such rough experiences at such an early age, but GED is I good and way better than nothing. I never got my GED, I was expelled and lived to regret it, reality is nowadays you won’t find a very good job even if you graduate. Many employers want college too. So take the time out of school and use it to your advantage. In this country the sky is the limit, don’t get left behind. Good luck on all you do.

Answer #10

well I can’t go 2 a new school theres only 1 here theres only 600 kids in the school it,s very small city I live in and I did tell on him I told the guidance counselors and I can only get a summer job but even work is hard cause again I have a hard time bing around allot of people and I don’t have a car or my license and all the job,s are like in the next town over and my mom don’t really have the money 2 get me 2 take a cab or any thing and I’m not doing any thing I am staying home I have pretty much been stuck in my house 4 the last like year I have been out a bit more lately though

Answer #11

I think it was a good idea you droped out of that school actually if its to hard to get there, then thats a good reason also that the teacher kept touching your shoulder (you could have also toldd the other teachers what he was doing) if you want to go back to school you could try a different one, and make some new freinds, ect unless you feel more comfortable at home and are actually doing something worthwhile with your time. I got kicked out of school last year, and let me tell you… too much free time isnt a good thing! after a while you start to get really bored and feel un-fulfilled but as long as you still keep up with your social connections and learning then it should all be good you could even start looking for a job or work somewere part-time hope this has helped!

Answer #12

well you could try a bus maybe or even see if you could start up a job from home maybe even start seelling some things on ebay? sometimes its good to drop out and sometimes its bad but a lot of people do it just because they hatr school you had more reasons for droping out so I think it was a good choice you just need to find something to do with all the time though!

Answer #18

well I all ready dropped out and I can’t go back 2 this school

Answer #19

Don’t blame you I know a lot of drop outs they were quite intellectual people but didn’t feel like putting up with the hassles of school 7 such, I really don’t blame them. The only reason why I haven’t dropped out myself is the fact that high school grad. makes more money unfortunately, which is really stupid. To get a GED you have to know all the stuff, to get a High School Diploma you can just copy & cheat & not know a d@mn thing

Answer #20

You wont know the answer for this until your older and dont have the job of your dreams. We could tell you till we are blue in the face that it is not a good thing but being a teen you prob will be thinking you know whats best for you. My advice would be for you to have a couple of weeks off school and in that time figure out what it is that you want to do with your life and go to like a college or training place to get the education for it. These days its so hard to get a check out job let alone some corperate gig. Good luck though. xx

Answer #21

Thats great that you know what you want to do. You already stepping in the right direction. So go get your qualifications for being a therapist and enjoy your life. At least you will still be studying. Some kids just dont do well in the high school years when studying in a school situation. If you are doing this in an adult education sort of atmosphere you will really enjoy it. IT gives you the freadom to want to do it yourself insteaed of having to do it and getting into trouble by a teacher if you dont. Good luck love.

Answer #22

I think drop outs give up too easy. No offense.
