What piercing leaves a scar?

Ok so I want my nose pierced, nothing over the top just a cute nose stud. Obviously my parents said no. So that made me think…If I have my nose pierced and I don’t like it and I let it heal up, will it leave a noticable scar? or wont it? because if it didnt that would be great because im a model and having clear skin is most essential. But im not entirely sure. Please help meee haha x

All piercings leave scars or noticeable marks. I got the rest of this from a website:

“Someone is going to start a chain of specialty clinics and make money on this. Piercing is so popular today, but in the future a lot of people are going to want the marks removed.

In a successful piercing, the skin actually grows down into the hole and closes over, and the hole may stay there forever. The regrown skin might close with a little, noticeable dimple.

If possible, the first step is for a physicians go in and sandpaper the hole to make the skin raw again. When the skin grows together, it will plug the hole. You might need the help of a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon.

Sandalwood and vitamin E will have an unpredictable effect, so I don’t recommend them.

A lot of folks are going to have a big old hole in their noses from nasal piercings, so a bellybutton dimple isn’t such a bad thing. Think of it as a souvenir of youth. “

ALL piercings leave a scar because every piercing is a wound obviously when something is sbabbed through your flesh, or even if its just a surface wound like from a fall, you are left with a scar piercings can leave scars and indents and the longer you have the piericng in for, the more noticable the hole is

Yeah babyguuurl is right, they leave scars. My cousin had one(a nose piercing) for about 3 years and she decided she didnt want it anymore(didnt go with her style I guess) so know she has a permanant indent/scar type thing. It’s pretty noticeable. On the other hand, if you take it out like a few weeks after you pierce it, it close up right away, usually leaving no scars. If you’re a model, I wouldnt do it though, I’ve always heard that people who are looking to hire models or actors don’t want them to have any more piercings then the first ear. Hope I’ve helped! =)

They all leave scars or marks, but there are products to make the scars go away. Such as Bio Oil, Emu Oil, etc.
