what is the advantage? what good does it do to our body? mind? soul?
Easy...there are none. No advantages at least that aren't trumped many, many times over by their subsequent disadvantages. Like when I party I increase personal marginal utility (I.e. satisfaction, I gather you're doing a report so I'm giving you some terms to work with) however the next morning my lungs feel like crap completely voiding all previous satisfaction. In a sober aspect I frequently smoke cigs when I'm cramming and stressed to calm my nerves, but I wouldn't need to nicotine to do that in the first place if I didn't smoke. So the advantages that do occur only prevent themselves to already addicted smokers and, well, they're not advantages at all.
Smoking does not have much advantage to the body, however smoking helps to bring your mind, body and soul at peace because you die young. population control is an advantage to the society, excessive smoking will make you impotent and you wont be able to reproduce (or do anything). Job opportunity for oncologists is also an advantage to the society, because you will get cancer eventually if you smoke and you will need someone to treat you.
There is one advantage to smoking. My friend once told me that he read somewhere that if you have a smoke your mind seems to work clearly. That's why some people who think a lot tend to smoke while they think.It helps them focus one way or another. No wonder Che Guevara likes cigars! But of course others see no need in taking a smoke whilst thinking hard. But some do. It differs from one person to another.
Smokeing Is enjoyable, and just becuase you smoke does not mean you will die young it has a lot to do with geans, if you smoke a pack a day for 40 years it will minus approx 7 years off your life, but still 7 years is quite a long time you can spend and enjoy with you family provideing you dont get canner and die earlyer
Fine cigarettes are not cheap. If you get addicted to them, your daily amount of cigarette consumption will increase inevitably, emptying your pocket money.
Um... it will prevent you from getting diseases associated with old age. Mostly because you die young.

Smoking can no doubt reduce pressure and help people relax when they are under great pressure.
