Just as the question says...(: What is so great about black bottom pools?
What happens with black bottoms is that the water becomes like a mirror, so that when the pool is filled it will literally look like a glass surface.
Also, due to the black bottom the water will absorb more energy and actually be warmer than a normal pool. Nice for the heat, but this also means it will be needing more chlorine.
They're more expensive, so they create the illusion of greater wealth in the same size package.
The bottom looks further away, so the pool seems bigger, more mysterious than a regular bottom pool.
