What is mla?

all I know about it is that the size of the words is 12 and that its doubled space, but what about all that other information about mla?

missing in action. its when somebody goes missing when they are fighting in a war (hence the action part) its been around for quite a long time and is still used today. a lot of people use it as a loose term if somone is late or didnt’t show, or something like that.
