How do i find sources?

A source is where you got your information from… So the sources page is a page you type up listing where you got your information from…

A source page is similar to a bibliography and also called a “Works Cited” page, depending on whether you’re actually citing the sources throughout the essay or just giving a list of sources at the end of the paper. It sounds like what your teacher is asking for is just a bibliography, which can be very informal. But I would suggest doing a formal sources page just to be safe.

Here’s a great site I use all the time for school, called NoodleTools… http://funadvice.com/r/153i1499ec5 If you click on NoodleBib at the bottom left and create a free account, you can create and save as many projects (or essays) as you like and then add sources to each one. How it works is you select the type of source (as in a book, a magazine, a newspaper article, a webpage, etc, and then enter the info it asks for.

NoodleBib is set-up for an MLA format Works Cited Page, so when you’re done entering sources, click print/export as a Word doc, then just change the heading to “Sources” instead of “Works Cited” and copy and paste it into your essay document.
