What if my dream in life is to be a stay at home mom?

There is nothing wrong with being a stay at home mom. Your kids will benefit immensely from it.

It isn’t easy, it’s a 24x7 job. In essence, your job is to take care of the home and support your other half so that he can earn money. When he gets off work, you don’t. When you all go on vacation, you still don’t..

In this day and age of high divorce rates, you would be deluding yourself to believe that it can’t happen to you. So having an education and work history helps keep you employable in the event you land on the wrong side of the marriage/divorce coin toss.

I would suggest holding off becoming a mom until after you’ve had your education and at least a couple of years of employment.

Nowadays it’s hard to have a stay at home mom, because of the income and tough times we have now. Some people find it hard to manage money. My mom is a stay at home mom, she’s a really great mom also. Seeing I’m on an online school I get to see her mostly my entire day.

Pros; It’s fairly easy, maintaining the house, so on so forth. Being able to raise your kid more effectively. Not having to worry about being fired lol.

Cons; No prior education in a job if anything were to happen to where you needed to go back to work, not having enough money to support a family.

But hey, if its your dream, you should live it.
