What feelings do you get from this Poem?

What feelings do you get from this particular poem?

She had those satin blue yes. I couldn’t bear her face of lies. The light of her face has died. We watched the letters retreat to those who lied. Pass me the smoke, and burn the birds. I see it damaging the perfect winds of weary words. It’s been enough to live through pain. For speaking I must refrain. Direct me at hope. Show me the rope. Sense is lost in a vast sea. I die, I cry, so save me?

Answer #1

I especially like it from ‘For speaking I must refrain.’ downward. it’s very well done, good on ya!

it gives me the feelings of loss, and pain. and then in the end surrender or giving up.

it’s a nice piece mate. keep it up!

I have to say first this is an amazing poem expecially if you wrote it. id be careful posting these tho people will be people and claim them as their own. its verry dark… sounds like a bad break up.

To me, it sounds like this person is tired of all the lies and betrayal(spelling sry) and they just want to end it now and rest in peace because they know that that is the only place that they will receive it.

but I feel a sense of… despair, sadness, loneliness… yeah… it’s not a happy feeling. That’s for sure.
