This is the line of work me and my fiance plan on going into here ya go: It takes a lot of school so be prepared.
Arranges and directs funeral services. Coordinates activities of workers to remove body to mortuary for embalming. May require an associate’s degree or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
You could. They don’t always do the embalming themselves, that’s a whole nother set of classes. Most morticians do embalming but there are a few that hire certain people to do it.
what are they called? I think I just want to do embalming.. or I want to make the people look good makeup, ect ect before the family sees them.
