What does someone have to do to be a librarian?

a librarian. I’m kind of interested in being one, and I’m wondering if anyone knows specifics on what needs to be taken in college, such as, what classes need to be taken, how many years of college, and maybe how much the average librarian gets paid. thanks

You need a master’s degree in library science. (It’s called an MLS) That means four years of college, then grad school. Are you sure you want to be a librarian? Librarians are aggressive answer-finders, but you haven’t even Googled “how to become a librarian…” Here’s a link with your answers, though, and good luck!
