What do you think about a gift back?

I went to vacation last year and I gave my uncle a sweater four months ago and when I visit him last weekend he gave me back my gift, I felt very upset, I think he doesnt remember that I gave him that sweater and I spent a lot of time to find something nice for him,I dont know maybe im overreacting. What do you think.

Uhm wow, talk about a faux pas. He probably didnt remember that you brought him the gift. Dont take it too personally. Some people have very specific tastes. My mother has known me forever and still cannot buy me something I will like.

We’ve all had relatives to make this mistake at one time or another, just remember he’s family and don’t hold a grudge. I’d just let it go.
