What do I do if she picks out ugly clothes?

What do you do if your mom forces you to wear really ugly clothes? What do I do to make them better-looking? Should I care about what other people say?

If she just bought them,well be glad she actually bought them for you when she really didn’t have to. Unlike you,people in the bad side of towns don’t get to have nice clothes like that,they would love to have those clothes. Wear them,and don’t care what others think,that money came out of your moms pocket.

if your out with your mum shopping and she says for example ‘look at this shirt, do you like it?’ or goes to buy it for you, just tell her mum I dont really like it, could I have this one instead? or something. you dont need to be mean or anything, just suggest something else. but if she buys clothes for you when you arent there then just jazz it up with cool jewelry.

if she is telling you what to wear, then just say to her nicely mum I can pick my own clothes now, or start by just changing something small like wearing different shoes to what she says, then move onto a different top and so on until you are wearing completely different clothes to what she originally tells you- then she might get the point.

but they cant be THAT bad, just wear them but jazz it up a bit.
