If you’re thinking about this as a parent, here’s a good idea I came across:

Make a little notebook into a book of vouchers for each kid. Think of the things your child often wants to do with you but you don’t have time to do, and turn each one into a voucher. For example:

‘This voucher entitles the bearer to one game of Monopoly with mom.’

or

‘This voucher entitles the bearer to 30 minutes extra time up for a bedtime story on a Friday night.’
