I don't think it is weird at all. In fact I think it is an absolutely great idea, ..... . ..... both to strengthen the parent-child bonding, and to give you useful life skills that are not common among girls.
There is no reason whatsoever why a girl should be considered unusual if she is interested in mechanical things.
I hope the days are long gone when people think only boys should be mechanics, and girls should be nurses or secretaries.

i think it's okay =) it's part of who you are!! being a girl doesn't always have to be GIRLY , you can just be yourself and still be a girl ;) and remember, do what YOU want NOT what people want you to do as a "girl" in the end it's your life :)
Not at all. I think it's sweet. :) Plus, you will be one of the few girls who will have car knowledge that goes further than "gas goes here." A lot of guys will like that lol.
No, its weird that people would think its weird. Its a geeat way to spend time with your dad, your learning something new, and your showing girls can do what guys can as well.
