Can I wash something in a washing machine if it's had air freshner perfume spilled on it?

  It's impossible to burn anything in a washing machine - the water doesn't get that hot. Worst possible scenario - it will set in and stain if the perfume is oil based.

  I don't think it would burn, but maybe wait until it is dried before washing? It will be in water anyways so I dont see any harm..
