Im 16 years old and my boyfriend is 19 and we both have been talking and thinking about maybe trying for a baby, im going to collage at the moment and hes in the army. I know it costs a lot to bring up a child but my boyfriend says that money shouldnt be a problem for us. He says hes ready and loves me and wil be with me through it all, I think im ready to, do you think I should go for it? ? ?

Well to start off your really young && I have been at that stage whwere I had really wanted a kid like real bad but now im glad I didnt I have my whole life still ahead of me and you have your whole life ahead of yours…hes in the army so hes not going to be able to be there and really help raise the child…and your going to need a lot of support its a big responsiblity,,,

Don’t you at least have some future ambitions and dreams…except getting knocked up and having kids (pardon the crude language)

It makes me feel nauseous to be honest. I mean seriously…you should first have a life before settling down and having kids and at 16 you don’t have an idea what you want.

I think you should wait, college is important for your future right now, and you still have so much time ahead of you to have a baby. Build up a better relationship and then when you think your ready go for it. But I think having a baby at the age of 16 is much too early it will change your whole teenage life forever, you wont have as much freedom. Go achieve your future ambitions and dreams like ifreelcrazy123 said, travel to places and see places, try out new things and then later on settle down and have a family. Right now as I already said its too early.

You’re 16 and in college? You and your boyfriend have your whole lives to have children. At 16 and 19 you shouldn’t have the responsibilities of a baby yet. You should still be living your own lives with freedom. Both of you have a lot of growing up to do and a lot of things left to experience as a couple before you introduce a baby to your relationship. Unfortunately, lots of people have kids at your age and if you ask any one of them I’m sure they’d say they love their children and wouldn’t change it, but they wish they would have waited.

College is more important at this point…
