How do you deal with very young friends?

I’m 35.. This new friend is 13. She seems to like me as a friend and call me often on the phone. But funny sometimes i run out of topics to talk with her. She talks about clothes, crushes, parties, etc. etc. So, how do you deal with very young friends?

um firstly, y are u friends wit sumone that much younger than u? but um… to each his own i guess… if she is yo friend, maybe u shud treat her more liike a daughter because you 2 are on VERY DIFFERENT levels of maturity seeing that you’e 35 and she likes what…. 13
