Answer #1

It stands for the forbidden fruit, or the fruit of sin. You can find all the meanings of the book covers by going to www.stepheniemeyer.com and clicking in twilight series at the top of the page, choose the book you want to know about, and going to the FAQ. There’s one about the cover for every book. Enjoy!

Answer #4

lol I’ve always wondered that and I found out the other day. there a person holdin an apple because if you watch the trailer there a snce where Beela drops and apple and Edward hits it with his foot and he catches it just like the cover shows. thats a special thing so they made it the cover

Answer #5

ok lemme explain: twilgiht: the forbbiden fruit, because edward and bellas love is frobidden

new moon: the dropped flower, because edwrad had left bella, her flower has been hurt

eclipse: the broken ribbon represents choice, as in the book Bella must choose between her love for the vampire Edward Cullen, and her friendship/love with the werewolf Jacob Black, the ribbon represents the idea that Bella can’t break away completely from her human life

breaking dawn: the chess pieces are the pawn and queen, this shows how bella started as the pawn and gradually became the strongest person, and queen.

Answer #6

in the movie, he drops an apple and kicks it up with his foot and catches in his hands like that. It is one of the newest trailors. Im not sure that’s why but that was what is in the movie.

It’s the same questions as “why is there a ribbon on eclipse” or “why is there a chess piece on breaking dawn?” lolz no body knows except stephani!
