towel in a microwave

okie, my fiancee is expeiencing some weird pain and I got the suggestion to shove a damp towel in the microwav e to heat it up and then apply to the pain. Will anything happen to either the towel or microwave if I do that? I ho not plan to leave it in there long, no worries

Answer #1

If you want a very hot towel - why not just wet the towel in boiling water?

Answer #2

No nothing will happen to either microwave or towel, exept be very careful when you apply it to boyfriend’s neck…as it might be far hotter than you anticipated.

They make all kinds of reuseable heating devices, some stuffed with rice, some with gel…all with a cotton covering…a towel is also made of cotton.

you really shouldnt put anything wet and made of material in a microwave a much better was to get soemthing warm is to buy a hot water bottle or make a (material) bag full of wheat (or buy one) that can be heated up in the microwave and it acts as a heat pack

Answer #4

If you leave it in there too long the towel might melt, but thats about the worst that could happen. Don’t leave it in more than 45 seconds. And that might be too much right there. Set the microwave to the lowest power setting if possible.
