Why am I being torn between two of my friends who hate each other?

Let’s call my first friend A and the second one B. Both friends are very close to me, but I hang around with A the most, along with other girls in different forms. B really hates A, and always says that whenever I fall out with A, I suck up to B because I have no other friends, and then when I make up with A again, I leave B out. But that’s not true! B really thinks she can dictate my life for me. When I want to go in pairs for something with A, B pulls me away from her and says ‘You’re going with me.’ But A can sometimes be annoying and an attention seeker. I really don’t want to hurt any of them, but them two pulling me apart is really doing my head in! What do I do? (PS, those two will never make up after what happened a few years ago.. it’s a long story.)

because you love both of them and want both of them to get along with each other because you get along with both of the separately.. I had this experience with a few different friends and I end up just not hanging out with them at the same time.. what can you do? you can’t make everyone happy at the same time so just try making yourself happy first.. If they are really your friends then they will love you no matter what =)

Answer #2

Sounds to me like you need to stand up for yourself with both of these girls. When you want to go with A, do so….and B will have to live with that fact. When you’re hanging with B….friend A’s comments should roll off your back…they both sound like little manipulaters to me, and only YOU can choose not to be manipulated by their personal feelings for one another.
