The Vampire Diaries???

are they good??? cause I was just at walmart and I read twilight, new moon, eclipse and breaking dawn. I wanted to read something else about vampires cause im kinda addicted now, so are they any good???

Yep, better than Twilight. It has more of a plot line, and more developed characters. But then again, almost all books do. It’s a great vamp book. Try The House of Night series too. :)

I personally havn’t read the series yet, but am planning on it. Heres some of my favorite vampire books:

Blue Bloods series 1.blue bloods 2.masquerade 3.revelations

Evernight

Twilight series 1.twilight 2. new moon. 3.eclipse 4.breaking dawn (in the works is Midnight Sun)

OOH, girl.. I can hook you up with some vampire series… 1 House of Night 2 Blue Bloods 3 Vampire Diaries (the author of that series also wrote The Secret Circle Series, about witches, but good nonetheless) 4 Vampire Academy 5 … There’s more, I just can’t think of any…

Yeahh! they’re good =] I’m only on the second one, and while I don’t think they’re AS good as Twilight, they’re still good none-the-less so give em a try! =]

I bought the first two because I needed something to read after Twilight and I still haven’t gotten past the first chapter of the first book it sucked but that’s my opinion you should check it out yourself you just might like it everyone is different.

It is better than Twilight, better written and Elena is a much more likable girl than Bella is . It goes deeper than a physical relationship between Elena and Stefan, and it is Elena who saves Stefan, she is independant adn strong, it stars as a game on Elena’s part because Stefan won’t look at her, and then she falls for him. The book was awesome, and the “Night World” Series also by L. J. Smith are also really amazing.

Really when you read this books, Twilight has nothing on them, they have more emotions, besides, mad and happy, or sad and suicidal mode. There is a difference between Love (VD) and Obsession (Twilight).

I havent read those yet. thats the next series I want to read.

but another good one is the House of NIght series(Marked, Betrayed, Chosen, Untamed, and Hunted)
