What is the quickest way to get rid of sunburns? Without peeling?
jlw82's advice is pretty good
also keeping your skin moisturized is excellent for sunburn and helps prevent the peeling...if it goes dry, you'll almost certainly peel and unfortunately if you are burned and it is sore then you also have a good chance of peeling regardless of what you do.
but...
Here's a few tips to help for the burn and the peeling.
Take cold baths...warm water will worsen the burn. add some baking soda to your bath water that will help with the sting and the burning. use a cream aloe vera to keep your skin moisturized.
TRY THIS IT REALLY WORKS!!!
This is the absolute best remedy for sunburn:
Get a few brown paper bags and a bottle of vinegar. Tear or cut the brown paper bags into strips Soak the strips in a bowl of vinegar Apply the strips to the sunburned skin and leave on until dry
The vinegar draws out the heat and should dry almost instantly depending on how bad the sunburn is. Kinda smelly, but it's amazing how much better you'll feel!!
Follow up with some good moisturizing lotion a few times a day and you should be fine.
you can go to stores such as walgreens, walmart and other places and get sunburn lotion it gets rid of your sunburn without it hurting:D
