I actually have been pulling my hair out for about 8 years now. I went through a fase where I had to wear a wig, I went to counceling, took meds, changed my diet nothin seemed to help. I still to this day pull my hair out. I have hair extentions and I have been wearing them for about 2 years now. Theres nothing really you can do to help yourself. Im sorry to bring you down, but after a while you dont even know when your pulling your hair out it just feels so good that you cant stop. If you find a way to stop PLEASE let me know, but other than that. Good luck!

If you are close to your parents tell them. They will help you. If you dont want to tell them try to get them to take you to the dr by saying your sick if they wont leave the room tell the dr to ask them to leave and tell your dr. they will help you with meds and counseling

sooner or later, something has to give in your life. I cannot imagine how stressful carrying around this pain and these secrets has been for you. trust me, if you tell someone about everything that has been going on, someone in a position to help you, things will start looking up. maybe not right away, or all at once, but in time, it will.

talk to a counselor at school. they would be able to give you advice on how to tell your parents.

I’m sure your parents know that something is not right. they can probably sense that. sit down with them and tell them you’re not happy. tell them things you think and worry about. tell them you need help. it’s not like they’re going to get mad at you or punish you. all they’ll want to do is help.
