Spayed dog has problems

My weimeraner was spayed about 6 weeks ago. She now has a swollen and reddened nipple that is oozing. Her appetite is good and she is not lethargic. Does anyone have any information on this? I have only had her for about three weeks. She came with papers saying she was checked out by a vet and is in good health. She is three years old.

I’d take her into the Vet myself. The spay doesn’t have anything to do with an oozing nipple, I don’t think. Did she have pups at one time, before the spay?? If it was my dog, I’d have checked out…

I would go to the vet that spayed her. It could be a infection, or a reaction to the suture’s that are under the skin, even though they disolve it takes months and the dog could still have a reaction to it.
