ok. I am a song writer and I am having a hard time figuring what to write for my next song. HELP.

practice makes it easier. Even if you’re writing stupid lyrics at least you’re practicing. I find it allot easier to write lyrics if I can listen to a guitar jamming. I’ll listen to it over and over again until I come up with something. Most of the time I can make some pretty cool stuff. I once wrote an entire song. Then afterward didn’t like it much so wrote a totally different set of lyrics with a totally different vocal melody. I loved it! The last song I wrote without music is called “Fire fly”. It’s more poetic than some of my stuff. It’s about me being attracted to someone yet keeping the person as though they were a fire fly placed in a jar. How I admire them yet will not set them free to be themselves. No, that’s not a first hand experience… I’m just merely role playing. After all, writing lyrics is allot like acting.
