How in the world am I supposed to find work?
I’m still looking for Work. i was wondering what to do? I mean apperently i am going to have to lie or like you said not fill in that question.about being convicted. But with todays computer systems and background checking that even has been backfiring. Just wondering if there is something that may help. I know if i could change my name ans SS# i wouldnt have any problems probably. but that is a crime and we know were that will go.

To find companies hiring felons in your area, go to http://ww.governmentjobs.com and find your local employment office.
They should be able to put you on the right track to finding a job. I’ve also heard that United Way and the Salvation Army will employ those with felony records.

Go get a cdl I did. learn a trade like welding, carpender, cabinet building and such. I got an associate degree in computer electronics. wrong field for a convicted felon. Get involved in a group to fight for your basic right to support yourself and family. We were to have served our time when we got out of prison or jail and off probation/parole. not for the rest of our lives. if you are able to get your political rights restored do so. it may help,may not. I can vote now and do vote in all elections. although i got my political rights restored I have had companies like capitol one tell me it wasn/t worth the paper it was written on. well to me it was! time to let the polititians know we do have rights after jail or prison!!JOIN A GROUP AND FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS.
