Could you say 'She sniggered'?

  She sniggered is "past tense"; She sniggers is present tense.

  You could say: . In the present tense ..... " When I am telling her a rude joke she sniggers like a half wit. "

  . or . In the past tense ..... " When I told her a rude joke she sniggered like a half wit. "

  .

  lol this is a dumb question.. :L You cant exactly say she snigger...it makes much sense saying she sniggered.. lol I didnt even bother using my head.. :D .x
